Service Description

Guided Nature Hike Date: Call us for a Date Time: 3 hours Cost: $10 per participating child 3+ (Parents or guardians must accompany children. Strollers are welcome for younger ones.) Agenda: 1. Introduction and Sign-In: 15 minutes 2. Nature Reflection Activity: Collect leaves, acorns, pine cones, beauty berries, etc. for leaf rubbing. 15 minutes 3. Animal Track Observations: Explore mole tracks and possibly deer tracks. 15 minutes 4. Interactive Plant Lesson: Discuss plants we find with a map. 20 minutes 5. Bird Observation Lesson: Learn about local birds using the Merlin app, interactive maps, and interesting facts. 20 minutes 6. Archery Demonstration: 30 minutes 7. Farm Tour: Group tours in the hummer. 20 minutes 8. Scavenger Hunt: Engage in a custom, reusable nature scavenger hunt game. 30 minutes Additional Options: You can add a large Nature Observation Kit for $25, a small Nature Observation Kit for $5, or a Pounding Plants activity.
