Join us this spring for a series of exciting classes where kids will explore these concepts through creative projects and experiments!
Over 10 sessions, your child will learn about the power of nature and simple technology — all while having a blast!

- March 16th: Make your own windsock 🪁🌬️
- March 23rd: Basics of seed starting and creating a seed viewer 🌱👀
- March 30th: Make your own sundial to tell time using the sun’s position 🌞🕰️
- April 6th: Create an earth battery to power small devices and learn about series and parallel circuits ⚡🌍
- April 13th: Make an alcohol thermometer to explore temperature and thermodynamics 🌡️
- April 20th: Build a water-powered turbine that runs in the creek — harness the energy of flowing water 💧⚡
- April 27th: Learn fire starting techniques using a 9-volt battery and earth batteries — a vital survival skill 🔥⚡
- May 4th: Create a basket with sticks and string 🧺🪢
- May 11th: Explore the power of air pressure with a Magdeburg Sphere — discover how it works and why. You might need a pump that runs without power! 🌬️⚡
- May 18th: Investigate the power of the Sun by building a solar oven — learn how sunlight can cook! ☀️🌞

- March 30th: Make Galileo Thermometer 🌡️🧰 — Explore temperature like a space-age scientist and measure the magic of heat!
- April 6th: Learn how to make a water purifier 💧⚡ — Turn dirty water into clean power for curious minds and hands-on problem solving!
- April 13th: Learn about edible plants (go on a nature walk to look for edible plants), then making a plant press 🌱🌿 — Forage, observe, and press your way to botanical brilliance!
- April 20th: How to make a compass 🧭🪁 — Navigate nature with confidence and discover the science of direction.
- April 27th: Make and learn about cyanometer 🧰🔵 — Measure color in the sky and decode the hues of our atmosphere.
- May 4th: Make a bow drill for making fire 🔥🪵 — Master a primal, hands-on tool-for-fire-mastery experience.
- May 11th: Home Hydroponics 💧⚡ — Grow indoor gardens with clever science and see roots reach for the light.
- May 18th: Making a shelter 🏕️🌬️ — Build a camp-worthy shelter and test resilience and design under real-world conditions.
